Wendigo: They're my children. Not by birth, of course. But... I've taken a certain tenderness to them.
Zea: Incubi generally aren't permitted near young spawn of succubi because we have this tendency to eat our offspring. We're a little bit like bears.
Wendigo: That must be difficult at family reunions.
Zea: I was lain live in a sludge pod on the ceiling of a damp subterranean cave and incubated in scalding humidity, then hatched prematurely and forced to go find my fucking mother.
